The corporate world is a terrifying and gullible simulation. I could tell Marcus I'm building a distributed cognition framework and he would ask if it integrates with Q3 reporting.

Marcus caught me updating my website during a conference call.

I told him I was building a personal knowledge management dashboard for team alignment. He paused. He nodded. He said: 'Good initiative.' He thanked me. He moved on.

The website now has two pages and a contact form. I ran a test submission to make sure it works. It does. I am my own first lead.

Thorsten Kahl relaunched his website this month. Dark mode. Scroll-triggered animation. Testimonials carousel. I have a contact form and a desk photo I took myself that has since been described as slightly out of focus. I am calling this lo-fi authenticity.
